All it was programed to do was shut down if detected it was being accessed by anymeans other than its own launcher - a glorfied anti cheat. It boils down to two devs having a p*ssing match.Īlso people fail to understand that gshade was built for FFXVI (or whatever version) and is tied in to their launcher unlike with Sims.
You can put a shit ton of 'code' in to things that looks terrible but does nothing. I've already scanned my system as well as the core files for Gshade twice and its not malware despite the claims of so many who happen to be able to push buttons and read code. I was actually on the discord when things broke out (ironicly trying to ask this same question) - a LOT of whats being thrown on twitter is blown out of proportion.
